This machine features a shaft-less unwinder compatible with 3” and 6” shafts. It is fitted with a hydraulic lifter for heavy jumbo rolls up to 1400 mm diameter and 2 t weight, with hydraulically operated independently movable arms. Magnetic powder brake controls unwinding tension, while an ultrasonic sensor performs web guiding. The transmission system adopts a main servo motor with frequency converter and synchronous belt drive, equipped with a pneumatic nip rubber roller. Its slitting section has 10 circular knives and a 3 kW trim suction fan for waste edge extraction. Two servo motors power the rewinding unit; a linear-guide mechanical arm enables automatic shaft unloading. Dual 3-inch air shafts deliver a maximum rewind diameter of Φ1000, and a pneumatic lay-on roller maintains close contact with slit rolls. The electrical system uses Siemens PLC and colour LCD touch screen for unwinding/rewinding tension adjustment and speed control.
